What is a blog?  A blog is a website were you can communicate with people by writing articles (posts) and allowing people to comment on these posts.  People can also read you blog without going to your website by grabbing your RSS feed (keep reading to learn what an RSS feed is).

Blogs have a "viral" nature to them.  That is to say that they are efficient at spreading your information across the web. Blogs use something called RSS or Really Simple Syndication to accomplish this.  You have seen the symbol for RSS and may not even know what is was.
